Hey everyone! Hope you’re having a good week…everyone gettin’ all geared up for Superbowl? I’m NOT!! ha ha I don’t pretend to like football any time of year, not even Superbowl. I do get together with friends almost every year for it, but just to eat, talk and watch the halftime shows and commercials. I couldn’t care less about the game.

This year, I have a bachelorette party the night before, so I’m pretty sure I’ll be feeling kinda yucky the next day. It’s gonna be hard to drag myself outta bed, into the shower and over to my friend’s house for the game. I’ll do it though!

I’ve actually been hitting the gym extra hard for a couple of weeks, hoping that kicking myself into serious shape will help me recover from a night of drinking better/faster. Is that just a ridiculous pipe dream? lol
Anyway, I should be around all day today for calls. I’ve gotten some great calls lately, and got a few more tips from guys who saw my blog entry about my stove catastrophe. I really do appreciate it so much. Talk to you soon!

I work out fairly non stop for the entire year, but I know a lot of people slack off during the holidays (I did a bit this last year and gained a few pounds) so they make New Year’s resolutions to eat healthy, work out, etc.

YAY! Normally it annoys me a little bit during the first part of the year when the gym is so crowded that it’s hard to get a machine and the classes are so packed you feel like a sardine. But yesterday, I finally had a “glass is half FULL” moment.

Yeah, it’s crowded and stuff, but DAMN…some of the guys who are in there now who hadn’t been for awhile are hot as hell! There was this guy running on a treadmill yesterday who isn’t the kind of guy I’m normally attracted to. He was only about 5′9″, very compact body, clearly in his late 30’s, early 40’s with salt and pepper hair. His face was really attractive though and he was running steadily and FAST with the treadmill at an incline.

Seeing that level of physical intensity and damn near perfection was such a huge turn on. I was on the elliptical down the row and I couldn’t stop staring at him. Seems like there’s a heat wave going out throughout the country. I don’t really watch the news, but I’ve gathered this info from talking to the guys who are calling me. My area hasn’t been terribly bad, just in the 80’s or so. I have A/C and stay comfortably cool in my bedroom or laying out on the beach. No problems here!

I normally don’t see much of a “summer slow down” on my phones in the summer, but I think I might just be seeing a bit of it here lately. I’ve noticed a few regulars not calling in as often and stuff like that. Nothing catastrophic, but I’ve noticed it. Always seems to happen when I am feeling most talkative too. Hmm. Weird coincidence, huh?

Kinda the opposite of that though, I have also noticed the return of a few guys. I had a pretty good weekend, spent a lot of time outside working in the yard. I went to my friend’s daughter’s first birthday party on Saturday too, that was fun. Watching her smash cake into her face (the daughter, not my friend) was surprisingly amusing! Babies are adorable.

In other news, holy CRAP on American Idol this week! I almost peed myself when Adam was in the bottom. I totally know how it happened though, my friends and I contributed to the problem even. We were so sure that Adam was safe, we only voted for Chris and Matt and didn’t vote for Adam! Oops. It won’t happen again.

X-Men Origins Wolverine is out! I can’t wait to see it. Hugh Jackman is really yummy…even lookin’ all mean like he does in the poster makes my pussy wet. Seriously…ugh, can you imagine how amazing he is in bed, with that body? Stamina for days, I’m sure.

I just got back from the gym (worked out with my trainer) and I think I might run down to the hardware store in a bit and get paint for our living room, but other than that, I will be here all day! Hope you’re horny and feel like callin’ me

I spend a lot of time in my bedroom. I live in a pretty great house and I love my roomies (even the little one, who’s kinda messy and doesn’t quite speak English perfectly yet), but it’s a two story place and when I’m working, I hate to run up and down the stairs every 5 minutes. It’s aggravating when I run upstairs and the guy hangs up within 2 minutes or whatever.

So, I mostly stay in my room. I have the master in the house because they get more bedrooms. I’ve got my bathroom, a nice walk in closet, a fireplace. I’m set! It’s so big, I have it kinda split into two sections….bed area on one side and office/living area on the other.

What’s my point? My point is that I’m in here a lot. When I’m working, I often have the tv running in the background. Mine is an old school 27″ thing that I’ve had for a looong time. I think I’ve had this thing since I was a teenager even.

A couple of months ago, it went black and white for a day and a half. Then yesterday, I turned it on and lo and behold, no sound! I had built up quite a cushion of Amazon money mainly due to one very generous caller of mine, but I’d used some of it to buy myself some AMAZING new running shoes that I should get in the mail tomorrow. I swear, I tried these shoes on (perfect size 8.5) and I never wanted to take them off. Only saving $25 by getting them on Amazon persuaded me.

So anyway, that knocked me down a little but so now I’m short of getting a new tv by um, maybe a couple hundred dollars. I could bite the bullet and pay the difference, but I don’t want to get behind on my bills again since I really just caught up this month…so I’m going to wait and be patient and hope that some of you take pity on me and send me some Amazon love.

I woke up this morning to a gift card from a guy I’ve known forever and the note said “Because no one should be without a tv.” hahah how funny!

It’s a beautiful day today and I worked out with a trainer yesterday so I think I’ll just head to the park and take a power walk or a leisurely jog. Other than that, I plan to be around and taking calls!
