Vampires! and instant messaging me
There’s a new show on the CW called “The Vampire Diaries” and I was SO excited for it to start! I love anything supernatural…witches (Charmed), ghosts (Ghost Whisperer), unexplained phenomenon (X-Files), demons and hell (Supernatural), vampires (True Blood), etc. I read books about these things, watch the movies…just love, love, love anything that’s about people or things that aren’t human. Don’t know why, just always have ever since I can remember.
So my roomies and I got settled in to watch this new show last night and I was SO disappointed! Ugh, it was like a teeny bopper soap opera on steroids. The premise is lame, the actors are adorable but not very good and it’s not even remotely believable that any of them are in high school. WAH! Oh well, I guess you can’t win them all.
So yes, I watch a lot of tv. I do other stuff too though, so I don’t judge myself too harshly for it. Shows are coming back this month and I’m pretty happy about that. I hate having to watch random crap in the summer that I ordinarily wouldn’t.
Last week, Niteflirt emailed me and suspended all of my listings for having my instant message screen names up on my site. They stated that it’s now against the rules to just give them away out in the open, even though I had been told before that it was fine. They changed the rule on me and instead of giving me a head’s up and giving me time to remove it, they just suspended me.
LAME! So I pitched a fit, took them down and fumed for days. They put my listings back up, but it puts a major cramp in my style to be told that I can’t IM with my callers. They said I could give them out, but it was against the rules to use it for anything but watching someone on cam. SAY WHAT?!
Then yesterday, they reversed their decision! YAY!! So I put them back up and invite any of you who would like to contact me on Yahoo or AIM to do so. I’m on Yahoo as sweetienikki4phone and AIM as phoneasweetie.
Now I don’t just talk talk talk all day for free on there and PLEASE don’t fall into the habit of making me respond to you on there before you do a call if I’m signed in because I do not sit at my computer all day long when I’m signed in…but saying hi or asking a question about a call is totally fine!
Also, some of you may have heard rumors about some changes going on at Niteflirt over the next few months as well. It’s true, there are a lot of things going on and though you might not experience much of a disruption, the way flirts like me use the system is going to be REALLY different.
The site will be down for 8-12 hrs. on Monday the 14th, but before that I will send out an email to everyone letting them know what to expect and asking you to help me out with a few things during the “dark time” (as I’m calling it).
I’ll probably post that same message here on my blog. I’ll be available for calls most of the weekend, let’s play!!
