Surprise! You’ve got a new baby?
One of my roomie’s ex boyfriend’s is now a pretty good friend of ours. He has been helping with our kitchen renovation and he and his girlfriend have been hanging out with us here at the house quite a bit lately. A couple of months ago, he told us about a girl he’d hooked up with for a couple of weeks getting pregnant and then having an abortion. Well, he told us because one of his friends saw her walking around a month ago all pregnant still.
When they’d been hanging out, he’d known her last name but had forgotten it. After asking around a few places, he finally figured it out and we looked her up on myspace. Yep, she had a baby two weeks ago! His mom immediately messaged her and was told that yes, the baby was his and she’d lied because she wanted a stress free pregnancy.
Our friend can be kind of a dick, so we all understood why. She brought the baby to his mom’s house yesterday and we went over there to meet her and say hi and stuff. The baby is adorable!! I love babies and I went a bit nuts buying clothes and stuff before we went over. I especially love buying girl clothes.
He hadn’t told his current girlfriend yet that she’d had the baby for sure (though she knew about the rumor that she was still pregnant), so he told her yesterday and they fought about it all night. DRAMA!
Anyway, that was kinda fun. Surprise!
I’ve just been having a laid back summer, hanging out with friends, etc. I took two WHOLE days off yesterday and the day before, so I plan to be on and available for calls for the next few days without interruption. That’s the plan anyway.
