Most of the time, sequels suck
I just watched “Butterfly Effect 2″ with my roomies and some other friends. God, it sucked. Really. I just can’t seem to catch a break lately as far as movies go. Anyone have any recommendations for me? I won’t be able to watch them until I get back from Mexico, of course, but I could use some suggestions.
I decided to take half a day off today since the rest of my week had been so amazing. I went out to lunch (still on the diet, so I had a salad and a bowl of veggie soup) and did a little shopping. I bought a new purse and a few things for the trip. The friend I went with had heard a commercial on the radio about this one store having a clearance sale on all their summer stuff and when we got there, there was only winter stuff. Not sure if they ran out of the clearance stuff or just lied on the commercial, but she was pissed. I got a cute shirt anyway and we made the best of it.
Speaking of the diet, I’ve lost 6 pounds! Only 4 more to go before I’m TOTALLY happy and ready for laying on the beach in my bikini. It will also give me a couple of pounds of wiggle room so I won’t have to worry about gaining a little bit of weight while I’m there. Hopefully all the sex I’m having with Erin will work off the calories, but you never know!
Tomorrow is going to be spent cleaning my room, doing laundry and packing. I want my room to be spotless when I get back, there’s nothing more depressing than coming home from a vacation and seeing a mess that needs to be cleaned. I need to get all of my laundry done too so I can choose what I’m taking with me. I’d much rather just see it hanging in the closet and pack that way. But God, I’m glad I can take two suitcases and a carry on! A two week vacation’s worth of clothes, accessories, shoes, jewelry and make-up is going to be quite a pile of stuff. I suppose we’ll probably spend a lot of time in our bathing suits, but still. I’m sure we’ll go out almost every night too and I want to look my cutest!
I’m going to spend tonight editing a recording Erin and I did when she was here last weekend. We were totally into it, but there were still some bloopers. I might edit a few of those together and sell them for cheap too. They’ll definitely be worth a laugh and might help some of you who are going to miss me while I’m gone. I’m going to send out an email to everyone once the recording(s) are ready and remind everyone that I’ll be gone as well as give a discount on the other recordings I have so you can buy them while I’m gone if you are having withdrawal. It’s my goal to get at least one more done before I leave, but you know how that works.
Speaking of recordings (I seem to be loving that transition today), I’ve got a concept going for a series of tease and denial recordings that I’ll be working on when I get home. I’m really excited about it and I hope that those of you who are in to tease and denial calls will enjoy it.
